KPN Flooring is a flooring company like none other
out there. Started in March of 2009, the owner Matthew
McClelland ventured out in the worst of the recession into a
business that few doubted. Little did he know what was
ahead. Just 3 months later his than 6 year old son came to
live with him, it has been the 2 of them on a wonderful journey ever
since. The focus on family first, work second, has given the
company a backbone to stand on and remember what is the most
important thing in life.
Along with bringing his son Nicholas onto job sites
and teaching him the various aspects of the trade, Matthew reached
back into his routes and hired his lifelong friend as his right hand
man to help run the business and ensure quality stood far above
quantity. Together they have set a standard on every job to
only give work they can be proud of.
Keeping the values in mind that they were raised on,
and with the current economy KPN Flooring has been offering "Quality
floors, at affordable rates" for almost 4 years. They enjoy
getting to know their customers on a personal level and learning
what will fit each customer's personality and tastes, and than
execute the job to the highest of standards, ensuring that when they
walk off the job, everyone is satisfied.
Looking into the future we hope to expand out of
just the flooring industry, Matthew's 10+ years of experience in all
types of construction has made him want to move into more general
construction and home improvements. His eventual goal is to
build high quality affordable homes to help everyone reach what has
become almost unreachable "the american dream of owning a home"

So what does KPN stand
Named after the 3 greatest inspirations in my
life, my parents Kenneth and Patricia as well as my son Nicholas,
placing their names in the name of my business reminds me of the
value in life and those around you. I like to get on a
personal level with my customers and make them feel as though they
are part of my family. I feel this allows me to gain a trust
with them rather than having some salesman show up at their door and
never meeting the actual installer until the date of
installation. Trust is key when making a financial decision
such as a new floor, and I strive to earn your trust not just for
one job, but for years to come!!!
